Job Description -
- Produce high quality, creative digital communications with a
focus on Oxfam's Campaigning work
- Provide consultancy and professional client care to
stakeholders to develop their use of digital media through
problem solving, organisational and market awareness
- Work as part of a team of Digital Producers to ensure Oxfam
prioritises compelling and engaging user experiences online
- Prioritise work and initiate projects to respond to Oxfam
objectives and the changing digital environment
- Maintain a high level of creative, technical and industry
expertise in order to influence Oxfam's digital strategic
direction
- Ensure high performance of digital assets by monitoring the
user experience and stakeholder requirements
- Manage freelancers and agencies to ensure optimal interactive
media impact for Oxfam
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Excellent website creation and management skills, including
experience of Dreamweaver, knowledge of HTML, and image
manipulation.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively with project
management skills, including budget management
- Experience of online campaigning and/or demonstrable use of
digital media as tool for influencing
- A high awareness of the digital environment including
developments in blogging, social networks, and community
building
- Strong critical information gathering skills. Proven
conceptual thinking abilities to deliver high impact
communications.
- Experience of leading digital projects and effective working
with others to contribute to cross-divisional projects
- Expert knowledge of good practice in web design, including
usability, SEO, accessibility issues and technology standards
Desirable
- Knowledge of Flash
- Knowledge of scripting languages including Javascript, and PHP
- Copy writing and editing for the web
Salary - £27,020 - £33,190 plus potential market
