Job Description -
Heading up our Social Media output you will, like us, see social
media as being central to the way we develop as an agency over the
next few years. Our clients are increasingly interested in how their
brands are being discussed in channels like blogs and Twitter -
you'll help them understand how they can join these
conversations.You will see it as part of your role to keep on top of
the latest widgets,technologies and analytics software. You'll be
able to use blogs,Twitter, RSS feeds and video to create relevant
and effective campaigns for our clients. You'll intuitively
understand what kind of stories and events are most likely to
resonate within online communities. And you'll develop
measurement strategies to test the influence of this activity.
You will be responsible for wrapping campaigns and ongoing
monitoring into tightly-costed proposals and sell these into our
clients. You'll also be responsible for managing a group of coders,
designers and writers to deliver successful campaigns - and be
prepared to get involved in the detail of the work yourself.
Candidate Requirements
You may well have worked in traditional PR and you'll be very
interested in how on and offline channels work together. You will
have a view on how social media can be integrated with other online
channels like display media, search marketing and email marketing.
You'll be senior enough to be able to influence, guide and motivate
clients and colleagues.
