Free
PR Case Study from The PR Training Centre
“The
biggest PR Mistakes of All Time”
London:
3rd June 2011 --
The
first in a series of free PR case-studies
titled “The Biggest PR Mistakes of All Time” has
been published by The PR Training Centre and can be downloaded
free of charge. Publication
of this new series of case studies has been timed to coincide
with a PR Skills Workshop to be held on Monday 13th
of June in Covent Garden,
London
.
‘Our
new PR Case Study series explains what can happen when a
company gets its PR or marketing messages badly wrong and
fails to deal with the resulting media crisis,’ says
principal presenter Jacqui Green.
‘As our first PR mistakes case study of Coke and
Dasani water shows, PR problems can hit even the largest
corporations if they fail to anticipate how their actions will
be perceived. The
new PR case study is freely available to anyone at our website
www.theprtrainingcentre.com.’
The
Biggest PR Mistakes series will cover some of the most
memorable PR disasters of recent years including Coke and
Dasani Water, the McDonalds libel case, Bennetton’s designer
advertisements, Perrier’s purity problems and Polaroid’s
failure to come to terms with digital photography.
Says Jacqui Green, ‘Publication of this new series of case
studies has been timed to coincide with our flagship PR Skills
Workshop, which will next be presented in our Covent Garden
centre on Monday 13th of June when we will be
reviewing hot PR topics currently in the news and telling
delegates how to avoid the common pitfalls made when
structuring a PR campaign.’
Author
of the Biggest PR Mistakes series, Richard Milton is a
co-founder of The PR Training Centre and is the author of six
books including “Bad Company”, which was chosen by The
Sunday Times as its Business Book of the Week, and the
management handbook “Do Your Own PR”.
